If you're sharp, can pick up multiple languages and can look for ways to add value without a lot of hand-holding, they want to talk to you. They're looking for Developers that can learn quickly on the job and that are passtionate about solving complex problems with large data sets. You don't need 5 years of experience, but you should be able to point to some examples of work you've done and also provide code samples.
