specific consumer niches. We reach and serve a broad customer base
nationwide, and this is your chance to be part of a fast-moving team filled
with smart, dedicated people who care about the quality of their work and
the user experience. Our continued growth has created an exciting
opportunity in our Development Department for a programmer. We are looking
for a talented, motivated individual to join our team in Roseville,
California.

In this full-time position, you will collaborate directly with technical
designers, project managers, and database administrators to produce
high-quality applications and proprietary supporting systems. You will also
assist in the development and planning of data structures, project
parameters, deliverable specifications, and code base for high level
functions. A focus in either front-end development (in e-commerce or
rich-media sites) or back-end development (infrastructural systems and
business logic) is recommended.

Required skills:
Basic Responsibilities of All Programmers: 
• Produce high quality web applications and proprietary supporting systems.

• Write easy- to-follow technical documentation for future updates and
upgrades.
• Design, tune, and write queries for new and existing data structures. 
• Contribute to a team that acts as a resource to every member of the
company in identifying and rooting out technical bugs and hiccups in the
user experience.
• The ability to explain bugs and fixes to non-developers. Conversely, the
ability to write a clear, thorough bug report.
• Contribute constructively to design and planning sessions. 
• Work with industry professionals and vendors to implement and develop new
features. 
• The ability to write maintainable code.

Here’s What We Need From You: 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 1-3 years of development
experience, or 5-6 years of industry experience.
• You should regularly use a Javascript framework, such as jQuery or
MooTools.
• Expertise in implementing and optimizing complex SQL queries.  
• Working knowledge of at least two programming languages.  PHP, Perl,
Python?  Ruby and Fortran?  C# and Lisp?  Mix to taste.  Extra points if
one writes the other.
• You must enjoy programming.  Do you program for fun?	So do we.

Bonus:
• Expertise leveraging HTML5 features such as canvas tags and in-line SVG.
• MS SQL Server experience.
• Familiarity with ColdFusion and ColdFusion frameworks.
• Experience doing development for e-commerce.
• Development experience for mobile device browsers or mobile apps.
