We are Hiring Perl Software Developers for Summer Internships.

Location: Downtown Pittsburgh, PA

Interested in: Open Source technologies, LAMP, and Perl Software
Development?

As a Software Development Intern at Grant Street Group, you will explore
exciting aspects of the intersection of technology and finance and work on
production code alongside seasoned developers.

Grant Street Group is a small, growing software company in downtown
Pittsburgh. We use LAMP architecture to build and operate customized Web
applications used by large financial institutions and government entities
to support a variety of financial transactions.

Grant Street Group's culture reflects emphasis on teamwork, high standards,
and individual responsibility.
This is a paid internship in downtown Pittsburgh.  Candidates must have US
citizenship or a Green card. Candidates must currently live within three
hours driving distance of Pittsburgh for the interview process and be
available to work in Pittsburgh the whole summer for 40 hours/week.

Required skills:
Required experience:
•	Perl programming experience in a Linux/Unix environment or another
dynamic language (Ruby, Python) or C/C++
•	Outstanding coding skills
•	Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills

•	Excellent grades and a track record of success

Desired skills:
Experience with any of the following is helpful:
•	Test-driven development
•	MySQL
•	Git, Subversion
•	Numerical and financial calculations
•	Production Web environments
•	Expertise in relational databases and SQL
•	Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS
•	Proficiency with Apache and mod_perl
