Search is a critical component of Polyvore. It drives our core shopping
experience, as well as our ability to suggest related products and sets. As
a key member of our search team, you'll be responsible for all aspects of
our search infrastructure, from indexing to ranking to recommendation
engines.

Responsibilities 

• Design and implement scalable infrastructure for distributed indexing and
searching 
• Develop search relevance solutions such as query classification, spelling
correction, search result diversity, and evaluation framework 
• Build recommendation engines that utilizes the massive amounts of data
generated by our users

Required skills:
Requirements 

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent 
• Write solid code (Java, Perl/Python) 
• In-depth knowledge of Solr, Lucene 
• Experience with MySQL a plus
