Description:
INNOVIM has an opening for a Software Engineer, who will design and
develop software applications and services using leading-edge technologies.
Work will be conducted in a team-oriented environment, incorporating Agile
development processes and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) frameworks.
The position will be located on site at NOAA NSOF Suitland, MD
Required skills:
Required qualifications:
Experience coding Java using J2EE
Exposure to JBoss, Eclipse IDE, GWT, SQL, JUnit and Perl
Experience using OOD/OOA and SOA methods
Understanding working within UNIX/Linux environments
Self starter
Ability to collaborate with other programmers
Special Conditions:
Permission to work in the United States is required; U.S. citizenship is
preferred. All candidates must be able to pass a National Agency Clearance
with Inquires (NACI) screening. Position is at a federal data center.
Desired skills:
Familiarity with any or all of the following commercial technologies is a
plus: Sencha Ext GWT, NASA World Wind, Hibernate, Oracle RDBMS database.
