comparison services in Germany.
- Development of applications ( command line tools) for automatic
processing of offer and product data.
- Data retrieval with existing interfaces (web services, reading XML files,
...)
- Implementation of processes of information retrieval and data-mining for
data recognition and mapping.
- Further development of the existing processing algorithms ( optimization
of speed, caching),
- Development of applications for statistic analysis of offer or product
related data.
- optimization of existing data structures, database queries concerning
execution time and efficiency.
Required skills:
- Degree of informatics or comparable job training with several years of
experience.
- Perfect knowledge in Perl programming, especially in
processing of text based data for example CSV or XML,
use of regular expressions
- Excellent knowledge in efficient use of SQL databases ( MySQL,InnoDB),
- practical experience with use of Linux
- technical English
- independent working, team player, highly motivated
Desired skills:
- Experience with web service and processing of csv and xml files.
- Knowledge in the field of information retrieval and data mining
- Experience with development environment eclipse as well as with
versioning system cvs.
- A competent level of written and spoken German
