SOFTWARE ENGINEER - AIRWAVE MANAGEMENT PLATFORM - ARUBA NETWORKS -
SUNNYVALE 

The AirWave team is looking for a few good software engineers with
object-oriented programming experience, especially in dynamic languages
such as Perl, Python, or Ruby. We offer a fast-paced collaborative and
agile development environment.	

The AirWave team is part of Aruba Networks, Inc, and produces the AirWave
Wireless Management Suite.   AWMS integrates wireless and wired network
infrastructure from multiple vendors into a single unified UI.	 We have a
very challenging development environment which requires unique problem
solving skills.  We need software engineers capable of navigating and
extending our object-oriented class hierarchy to create a unified data
model and present our customers with a consistent view of the entire
network.

AirWave is currently used by more than 1,000 organizations world-wide -
including many Fortune 500 companies - in diverse markets such as
education, government, healthcare, technology and retail.

We are looking for both senior and junior software engineers for front-end
and back-end positions. We offer competitive compensation, a highly

business. This is a full-time position located in Sunnyvale, CA. Relocation
is available for the right candidate; telecommuting is not.

Required skills:
Object-oriented programming experience, especially in Perl.


Desired skills:
* Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript (including JavaScript libraries
like JQuery), Google Closure
* Experience in agile development methodologies
* Experience developing Linux-based web applications or network appliances
* Networking experience, knowledge of wireless LAN topics, and interaction
with SNMP
* Database/SQL knowledge, especially PostgreSQL
