Our lights-out, state-of-the-art labs are used by all of our engineering
staff every day. We are looking for a few senior candidates and motivated
junior candidates who can enhance and grow our wicked cool lab software,
administer our virtualization infrastructure, design fault tolerant
networks, as well as contribute in the day-to-day work involved in
supporting thousands of machines.

Responsibilities:

    * Develop enhancements for, and support, our mostly Perl-based lab
automation software, but if you have strong scripting skills in another
language, we're interested.
    * Troubleshoot lab system issues (networks, servers)

Required Qualifications:

    * Strong skills scripting/developing -- ideally in Perl, but other
scripting languages are also viable
    * Problem solving wizardry.
    * Self guided - self motivated.
    * Great team skills
    * Experience working with Linux and/or Windows

Might have experience with:

    * VMWare ESX/ESXi and vCenter
    * IP networking devices like switches and routers
    * IOS/CatOS equipment, especially VLAN switches
    * Troubleshooting x86 computer hardware

    * Strong attention to detail
    * Strong problem-solving ability
    * Must be able to work independently without significant guidance
