Due to our growth we are currently recruiting for a full time Software
Engineer for our Cambridge, MA location:
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Server Development, as a member of our Server
development team, the selected candidate will contribute to the complete
life-cycle of our CIDC gaming products and services. CIDC's web client
engineers contribute to software design, implementation and unit testing,
integration, and system test. In addition, CIDC's web client engineers
support product marketing and QA functions. CIDC's web client engineers
apply their software expertise to implement, maintain and extend dynamic
web applications for on-line gaming and Internet marketing, develop and
maintain a number of support and data analysis scripts, expand automated
testing capabilities, and provide product maintenance.
Required skills:
To be successful in this role your background will need:
- Perl in Unix/Linux environment
- Experience with development of e-commerce applications involving Perl,
Mason, Catalyst, Template Toolkit, Apache
web servers, DBI, CGI, SQL, HTML.
- Experience with at least one relational database (Informix, Oracle,
Sybase).
- BS in Computer Science degree and 5 years, or MS in Computer Science and
3 year, or equivalent experience is a must
- Effective communication and organizational skills, demonstrable teamwork
skills.
Desired skills:
- Experience with financial applications, Internationalization and
Localization a plus
- Experience with Web Services technologies (Java/ J2EE, AJAX,
applications and messaging servers) also a plus.
