Description:
•Designs, develops, and modifies highly complex solutions to support new
and existing products, as well as customer specific solutions. Specific
emphasis placed on secure, extensible, and scalable solutions. 
•Assist in the development of documentation for all facets (e.g. functional
and technical) of proposed and existing solutions. Examples include
Functional and Technical Design documents, Use Cases, Test Cases, and other
software development related documentation.  
•Develops software utilities that automate manual tasks, improve debugging
activities, support customer care and system administrators, and contribute
to customer satisfaction. 
•Assist with the resolution of complex technical issues. 
•Demonstrates an exceptional commitment to project deliverables and
possesses a "can-do" attitude. 
•Consistently delivers all assignments on time.
•Performs other duties as assigned.


Required skills:
•2-4 years of development experience with basic knowledge of Perl web
programming, POP/IMAP, DNS, web services and other web-related
technologies. 
•Unix experience required; FreeBSD or Linux preferred.
•Broad Internet understanding including TCP/IP programming, HTTP and
implementation of other major Internet protocols. 
•Basic understanding of automated build processes and concepts. 
•Diagnostic/trouble-shooting skills with the ability to quickly learn and
understand new technical concepts. 
•Database knowledge and SQL experience. 
•Knowledge of HTML, XSLT, JavaScript and other web development skills. 
•Good written and verbal communication skills as well as strong
interpersonal skills.  
•Practice professional and courteous conduct within a team environment.
•Operate within flexible hours, especially during software distribution
phases and on-call support.
•Development and/or System Administration experience in a hosting oriented
company ideal but not required.
