A possibility. Alas, though, I am a neophyte in term of that
kind of golf scoring. Can you kindly explain to me how
the calculation is done, using simple terms like

Let $x_{ij}$ be the score of player $i$ of hole $j$ and
$X_{i}$ the sum he will end up with, then

$X_{i} = \sum_{k=1}^{n} blah blah blah$
