PASS Video-Capture-V4l-0.221 i386-linux 2.4.5-ac9

This distribution has been tested as part of the cpan-testers

Distribution compiles fine on my platform and 'make tests' are ok as well.
Yet, just use()ing the module isn't a very thorough test.
Subsequently any of the example-scripts fail to work. At least my cam is recognized correctly:
Device: name Philips 740 webcam, type capture, channels 1, audios 1, sizes 160x120-640x480

But then each call to mode() results in 
    Can't call method "mode" on an undefined value

And since there is no documentation at all, the user wont be able to fine-tune
any of the example-scripts (as suggested in a few of them).

Lastly, I especially like this quote from the docs:

        It's a good idea to use "perldoc -m Video::Frequencies" to
        get an idea on how the various constants and lists look
        like.

You're not really expecting people to look into the source, are you?

Things seem to secretly work with my Hauppauge TV-card though. Some of your example scripts refer to mpeg_movie. It would be nice if you could add a note of how and where to find this program. The most trivial approaches (freshmean and google) didn't reveal anything helpful.
