IP's to geographic area. It's not as easy as you would think, but there are various ways it can be done. (no hosts in Denmark are in the cluster configuration file yet). $ dig -t mx ftp.cpan.ddns.develooper.com @ns.sunet.se ... should give you the Swedish mirror every time. $ dig -t any ftp.cpan.ddns.develooper.com @ns.develooper.com ... should give you a North American mirror every time. Next is get a reasonable number of mirrors to participate get some proper weighting get more nameservers running.
