Perl_GThr_key_ptr Missing Symbol after upgrading FC14 to FC16

Dear All,

I upgraded my Fedora 14 to Fedora 16 by means of "preupgrade". After rebooting
many perl scripts (including cpan) started complaining about the Missing Symbol of

Perl_Gthr_key_ptr.

I found that Perl_Gthr_key_ptr is really missing in "/usr/lib64/libperl.so" of upgraded
machine (while it is present in the other one which is still running FC14). I installed
perl again (by means of yum) but it didin't help.


I put a post in Fedora mailing list but none was able to help me.

Is there any guru here who could advise me?
